JG M4A1 metal having no bolt cover?

Just got a full metal JG M4A1, and there's a dust cover however under it, no bolt cover... is that normal?

I don't think so, but before requesting a compensation from the seller I just want to be sure, if anyone has this gun.

I know the older G&P metal bodies were like this. Not until quite recently did Metal bodies start to have functional bolt catches and faux bolts to cover the mechbox.

Could of been removed to due lack of space. I have a rifle where you just can't fit the fake bolt cover plate in it, the gearbox combined with the metal receiver just doesn't leave enough room.

I own one and yes there should be a faux bolt cover

They are hit and miss from what I understand. I've seen many with and many without out of the box.

Mine has it. Maybe you should ask the retailer if they have the piece in extra.
