Gas efficiency isn't that good, in my opinion. But... I do have an older FM KJW M9 myself.
I have no issues with the safety not working - however it doesn't work if the hammer is not cocked. The feed lips are plastic, yes - but they are strong, in comparison to most GBB mags. Just note that KJ mags tend to develop leaks very quickly, and because of that, dropping them is probably the worst thing you can do for them; that should be your main concern, rather than plastic feed lips. Most GBB mags have plastic feed lips and not all of them have problems unless you severely abuse them. |

yeah I own a CANSOFT KJW M 9, bought it from Velocity Arms. Got the pistol and 2 extra mags for $240, out the door thanx Frank. No problem with it however Juicy you are right when comes to KJW GBB MAGS, they do leak and can not handle rough going. I bought a KWJ SIG SAUER 226 last year with 2 extra mags...down to my last mag. Got to pick up a couple more for sure. I like to push it to the limit like I use to in the Army. Looking at getting a KWA pistol (full metal) when I get a chance. Those are good trg pistols.

Well I don't know about the leaking issue. I own a kjw m9 and I've regularly used the same 3 kjw mags for at least 8 months now, and still have none that leak. Just make sure you don't overfill them.

I'm actually somewhat disappointed in the quality KJW. I own a cansoft KJW m9 and in about two months or so, the piston broke because it's made of pot metal. I can't find a darn replacement anywhere too.
