how to hold a 12v battery
i am getting a systema gearbox requiring a 12v battery but i have an m4 with crane stock, is there any possible way to put a 12v on my gun other than getting a full stock?

Mount the M4 onto a car?
Sounds like two things: 1/ You made a bad choice in gearboxes to purchase; 2/ Good chance only a Li-Po battery in the 11.1V flavour is your best option. |

What gearbox requires a 12v batt? And Stalker had it right. Lipo would be your best bet with that one.

get a king arm lipo 11.1volt battery i do have a 12 volt nimh intelec in my m4 and i can tell you 11.1 volt is about same thing even the li-po might offer a little bit more power.
BTW: if you got systema m170 gearbox you dont need to run a 12 volt battery but it's recomended ;P This battery fit in buffer tube, i do have 4 of these and they works pretty damn good. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1338

yeah i got the systema m170 gearbox but put a m120 spring in it for my aeg, but the lipo battery wont fit in my stock, its the batteries that are 2 tubes connected with a wire it cant be a box, also if it doesnt have a 12v would it still run good? and i didnt make the wrong choice lol. i have a full stock to but i wanted to put on my crane stock

Its the tube the stock slides on. King Arms makes a lipo buffer tube.

Shouldn't make a difference what stock you have. As its only the tube that is being switched out.
Also a 12V with a m120 spring may cause heavy damage to the gearbox if used on full auto. So a safer bet would be a 8.4V large battery, a 9.6V small/large battery or lipo. |

ok, but it doesnt matter if its a m170 gearbox with m120 spring, i should still use a small 9.6 and work fine?

a m120 spring will run fine on a 9.6Vsmall I have a spring comparible to a m110 and I use a 9.6V and it powers it easily.
But as far as the motor I have now Idea. What motor do you have so someone else that knows more than I do can help you out. |
