SVD Scope instruction on fitting it on JG Dragunov

Hello guys

Did a small research on this tread and could not find it...can anyone shed some light (pictures even) on how to install a SVD Scope

on a JG Dragunov please.

I don't see how you can "clamp it" onto the receiver...

Also, i guess adding a rail onto the receiver won't help fitting the scope as there is no rail attachement on the scope itself.

You need an AK mounting plate. It attaches to the side of the rifle and allows you mount various sights.

That's for a 74, could be cross compatible, search around and see what you find now that you know what to look for.

@Disco Dante: AK47/74 sideplates and SVD/PSL sideplates are not interchangeable.

However, this is an airsoft ACM scope that is advertised as "AK SVD", so a standard AK sideplate will most likely work.

I wasn't sure if the 74 and 47 plates are though, as the JG SVD has an ak47 body, and I found a 74 mounting plate, thats what I meant by "might be cross compatible". I'm well aware that the SVD has a different receiver and mounting plate normally

Do you know where we can get this plate ?

Do I need to drill the receiver to have that side plate fit ?

You would think that they would included it with the scope at the 113$ Us price...with instruction !!!

Any tip on fitting it once you have the plate, would be great !
