USPS Shipping and Tracking
I need someone else to confirm it.
What method of shipping does USPS offer tracking for international? These are the methods I know Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) Express Mail International (EMI) Express Mail International Flat rate envelope Priority Mail International (PMI) Priority Mail International Flat rate envelope Priority Mail International Flat rate small/medium/large box First-Class Mail International The reason Im asking is because Im buying some parts from US and they dude kept saying that USPS does not offer tracking besides GXG (Global Express) which cost $100. To worsen, he wants to use UPS which I told him repeatively no UPS... Is it just him or I'm under a big rock? This is the first time I've heard that EMI and PMI dont offer tracking. |

I'm getting a package using
Priority Mail International small flat rate box- which looks like the cheapest method and I received a tracking #. a lot of time companies have a contract with a shipper or don't want to have to leave the building to post a package so they may tell you a bunch of stories

i'd just leave this. if the person has to be soo lame about the shipping why bother. even USPS priority mail and USPS ground have tracking #.

I always try to get Priority Mail International (for both businesses and individuals). It has tracking and its cheap.
From what i understand the pre-paid PMI (box and envelope) don't have tracking.

I've had this happen on Ebay before, you eventually pay for "GXG" and they end up shipping it priority anyways, just to make some extra money, this has happened to me twice so be careful.
