Does anyone know if I could get this shipped to canada?
I was thinking about buying an airsoft gun online, but I'm not exactly sure if it would be seized at the border, and I don't want to waste all of that money for nothing. Here's a link to the site that sells it, any help would be appreciated, especially if you could give me a link to a good canadian airsoft online store.

Item will be seized.
Best way to acquire an airsoft gun would be to acquire it through the proper channels in Canada. This website holds all the answers. Hit up the frequently asked question section to find out more about airsoft in Canada and use this websites search function to find out which retailers to order from to get what you want.

If I might add. Don't trust East Coast Airsoft. That guys credibility is almost nil. He doesn't care what happens after he makes the sale. He even asked if someone wanted to buy $40 "insurance" on their gun and it seemed like he knew full well it probably wasn't going to make the border. Hell I'm sure the CBSA has him on a list for extra screening by now at least.

if you look on this website you'll find that alot of people have problems with ordering off that website.
your best bet is to get yourself age verified (your 18 right?) and then scour the classifieds theres plenty of selection on there |

Nothing to say after they got bought out/merged however before I would have adamantly said avoid at all costs. Now I'm not sure what to say.
Private retailers are the way to go.

Allow me to reiterate, ordering airsoft guns from outside of Canada is not a recommended course of action. It is the equivalent to throwing your money in the toilet...or using it to buy Justin Bieber CD's. The Canadian border services agencies inspects all incoming parcels to Canada, any items that THEY DEEM to be a replica will be seized regardless of the fact of whether or not it is a replica, its about interpretation. If the inspecting agent feels that your item is a replica, it will be seized and you dont get a say. From what I understand buyairsoft is under new management, their track record is not that good, however I cannot offer any information in regards to how their customer service is now. There are a handful of reputable retailers in Canada, however most of them support the ideal that airsoft should be only handled by those of the age of majority. This website has a process called age verification, where you can meet with an ASC representative in person and show them some form of valid government ID proving that you are 18 or older. Age verification is not required to be apart of ASC. Only to purchase from the buy and sell area, some retailers also require that their buyers be age verified as well. If you have any questions about any of the retailers you have found, please double check the review section or use the search function to dig up some information.

WHats the point of resurrecting this thread when you tell us in EVERY post of yours that you bought from ECA? Are you trying to brag or something?

According to your profile stats, that's your 7th post about ECA.
You also stated that you "support Matt from ECA." Addition to the drinking game: A shot every time this kid mentions ECA. |
