KJW Glock32c
Hello ASC,
Short story (Pictures): Outer Barrel http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...c/DSCF2524.jpg Hop-up http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...c/DSCF2519.jpg Long story: I've put around 500 shots through my KJW Glock 32c. Halfway through my latest plinking adventure the outer barrel falls out the end of the gun after a shot. I took the gun apart and noticed not only the missing outer barrel but also the damage to the hop up unit shown in the pictures. I've already ordered a threaded outer barrel and silencer from CapitalAirsoft.ca so the replacement outer barrel assembly is taken care of, my question is whether or not the gun is safe to fire with the hop up unit in that condition. My first instinct is an obvious NO but it's nice to have other opinions. I've looked around to try and find a replacement unit, but seeing how its basically the loading chamber and hop up in one, I havn't been able to find any replacements like that on any website. I'm almost afraid I'll have to buy another gun out right to properly fix the problem. There's more pictures of the damage in the base folder (http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...ning/Glock32c/), have any of you had this type of problem of the outer barrel shearing right off? This gun is definetly a hard kicker, but I didn't expect it to blow the barrel right out the end! |

I heard that it happened also to another guy. He was doing a review of the gun. In the middle of a skirmish he realised that he had lost the outer barrel.
I have the exact same gun, I did not shoot more than a 100 BB so far with it hopefully, nothing like that will happen with mine (crossing fingers) But the best thing you could do if you are looking for KJW replacement parts, is to contact them directly, I heard that they provide fast replacement parts and prolly (since this is a major defect) send it to you free of charge. Here's the link to their website:http://www.kjworks.com.tw/ Keep me posted how it goes with them and how much it will cost you (since I have the same gun, if I need replacement it will give me an idea). |
