Marpat or Cadpat?

I Live in british columbia and all my airsoft buddies are telling me that marpat is better for BC and Alberta than Cadpat is... i already have used Cadpat and am thinking of getting some Marpat... please post wich you think is the best...

depends entirely on your field and what kind of vegetation is local.

you also need to define "best".

TW Cadpat was voted best BDU pattern by NATO for temperate and tropical environments. But its shite during fall, winter and early spring in Central Ontario as its mostly browns and earthen tones and most of the green vegetation is dead. Which is why i switch to my Arid Cadpat. That being said. Ive seen some fields where Multicam was superior and some where even tigerstripe worked.

Your question is too vague and your giving us nothing to work with.

Here in the lower mainland I'd say both are pretty equal. Not many guys wear marpat, but I'd say they are all the same. My opinion though, go with whichever one you want. Camo doesn't make you invisible, just helps hide you a bit...the second you move your seen anyways.

You could always get ghillie...

Interior like Vernon and Kelowna MARPAT wins out however CADPAT really shines in the area of mossy trunks and thicker greener vegetation (eg.on the coast).

Get a set of TW and Arid CADPAT and you should be able to adapt to pretty much any situation.

the enviroment im in is covered in leaves until the spring and then the green in the marpat matches the green in the plants and the brown in the trenches...the overall green in cadpat doesnt really work in some areas but its Canadian pride you know? So its settled! i'll get Marpat, thanks guys...
