Exclamation YOU TUBE: SRC GEN III Gearbox Review

YouTube- 007 Airsoft - SRC Gen III M4 Gearbox Review

Edit: Shimming was done properly, in fact, exactly how I would have done them. Without the cylinder and spring assembly, the gears can spin freely even with a tightly closed gear box. There is only very minor play for the each gear axle between the corresponding bearings.

Edit: Back side of cylinder head is lined with a rubber pad to absorb impact from piston head

Ken

thats a great review!

only thing i think you forgot is the shim job...

hmmm i think aluminium piston head is not ideal in here... adds a little bit of stress on the shell... other than that it looks like a very good mechbox! the airseal seems very good

It looks like they've lubricated things with oily lubricants instead of waxy/tacky lubricants...

But that may have just been the video, it was difficult to tell.

These things look like they're miles ahead of any G&G CANSOFT I've seen lol

Ah that grease looks good!

The only downside I can see is that they cylinder head isn't Sorbo compatible.

You can always get a modify cylinder head. But that cyclinder head is good to perform with that aluminum piston head. Sweet.

Too bad the hk416 isn't the right lower. lol
