OE TECH Vest
I was browsing AirsoftGi and I fell in love with this. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=2045
As you can see...I have pretty low standards...anyway I was thinking about getting this as a loaner for a friend or for personal use...I want to know how is OE TECH's gear? is it crappy? decent? good? great? Excellent? how does it compare to let's say...pantac or condor? Also Airsoft GI's shipping says it's 22.80...is that the right price? (USD)

For 22$ I would not expect it to last very long.
Don't waist your money and save it for something that will get more use.

It should last quite awhile, but keep in mind 'OE TECH' is just a re-brand i believe.. but it does look solid. And yah, cost of item + shipping = to your door or nearest post office i believe.
Cheers! |

Try Condor brand. It's a little bit more expensive but, not as high as the high end one.

Get Pantac. EDIT: I've heard people have a hell of a time adjusting it, to fit them. If I were you go with a Ciras. Much more user friendly. Oh yeah, its okay, the gear. I've heard it has some un even webbing, and stiff. Other than that, fairly good quality.

It's yet another copy of the RRV (Rhodesian Recon Vest).
For $55 I wouldn't expect too much, but its probably mid range (or overpriced) since the low end ones come out to about the same price shipped from Asia and include pouches. I have one of PANTAC's (~$150) and it's built nicely but the shoulder pads are extremely stiff making it uncomfortable to wear in that configuration (I use mine with the rear plate carrier -- full review coming soon). For a similar price, Blachawk have their own version of it which they call the S.T.R.I.K.E. Commando Recon Chest Harness. Haven't used it but I'd guess the shoulder pads are a bit more comfortable. They also have an "Enhanced" version with integrated low profile mag pouches (like on the Wasatch and Callahan). And of course there's the Eagle version. Hard to find in CB but if you're looking for it in OD it's fairly easy to find and about the same price as other top tier versions (~$180-200) with top notch build and comfort. Something else that's similar if you don't plan on using a plate in it is the RACK (Ranger Assault Carry Kit), although its shoulder straps aren't padded so if you have a lot of weight on it you'll end up feeling it more. But a new genuine issue one is about $50.
