Has anyone wore a Dye i4 paintball mask? few questions

Hey guys, I want to get a full face because of the teeth issue/bleeding which is a nuisance, and was looking at the dye i4.

The lense looks like it has great peripheral and doesnt fog, but few questions for those who may have worn them:

1) are the holes around the mouth small enough to block bb's from getting through?

2) they're supposed to be low profile, is it sleek enough to use iron sights

3) will they withstand a bb? The lense is pretty huge, not sure if its weaker

EDIT: my only other alternative I can think of would be a sykes, but wearing an extra pair of goggles over a mask seems kind of annoying and not sure which goggles will fit (dont trust the original goggles)

2) yes, for the most part... the areas around the jaw are soft making it alright to press your face up against the stock. It can get a little awkward as the large lense can restrict how you sight your gun, but it really depends how it fits on your face, how you handle your weapon, and what kind of optics you have mounted.

The JT proflex seems to be popular choice for airsoft. It's a lot cheaper and the face guard is soft and removeable.
If you have a large head, you can also check out the e-vents or profiler.
I highly suggest going to a local paintball store and try on different masks for yourself.

That is a great mask , it is vey comfortable. However because of the shape of the actual goggles you may experiance vision distortion. I use to use one for paintball. I had to get rid of it for that reason. I bought an Empire Events instead.

Only thing I have to consider now is that visual distortion, never heard of that before. Is it really pronounced? Weird nobody ever mentions it in reviews I've seen on youtube

About the e-vents, would you say the dye i4 is more form fitting/sleek, or are they about the same?

ive tried on the i4. i hafta say, i didn't notice any distortion. it may just be me though. im considering picking one up over my Grill.

UPDATE:

My head is around the same shape as his, I think I'll go with the events LOL
Local store doesnt carry either of these, so I gotta play it safe and go with the events I think

EDIT: now that I watch it, he may be wearing it a little high, and as long as the eyes and mouth are covered, realistically it should be fine. I just got the impression that this looked umcomfortable and weird on the face due to how short it is. Eyes, teeth and ears are all I care about

I've never encountered the visual distortion on the I4s.

Don't know if it was the type of lense that caused this. The smoked lense and clear one seem fine to me.

Here at Op-for, we are required to use paintball approved goggles as we currently play in a paintball field. The best that I've seen are what I have, and what almost everyone else have in Op-for as well. The JT spectra, although we mostly only use the goggles, are simply perfect. Good view, and with dual anti-fog lenses with some anti-fog spray every now an again, mine have NEVER fogged.

I bought a JT Proflex Revolution and boy do I hate it. It doesn't fog on me but I can't use the iron sights as well but its a better mask then most of them, I just use the goggles since the face guard gets in the way.
