Tactical Workshop Replica AN/PRC-148 MBTIR Radio
Anyone has any experience with this model?

I cannot find any detailed spec sheets of this radio, no S/N ratio of the reciever. Basically lack of specs = can't comment = probably bad. It's much more of the replica than usable. Buy a better quality 'real' radio instead. Oborous |

An other radio ralated question. What's the diference between CB and 2 way radios.
Also Can I use a Cb to talk with people using a 2 ways radio?

A CB is a "two way" radio;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens'_band_radio But using a certain part of the RF spectrum, like FRS. As it's on the 27MHz or 11 meter band, no you cannot use it to talk to FRS/GMRS radios. Last edited by Kokanee; October 8th, 2009 at 10:22.. Reason: spelling |
