HFC m9 mag fill valve jamming
Hi
I just recently bought a cheap HFC M9. The gun works fine and i've bought 2 mags with it. One works fine but sometimes jams also. How? well actually when i fill the mag I need to put pressure on the valve so that it opens and the propane flows in it but when I remove the propane tank it sometimes leaks. The fill valve stays stuck open. Anyone know of a fix for this? Or a replacement part? Thanks |

Try lubing the valves with silicon oil, empty the mag of gas, put a good amount of oil in the valves and work them in and out a dozen times, then fill and see if that helps. Is all part of GBB maintainance anyways.

I already lubed the gun and mag a lot and I used the Mad Bull Propane Adaptor w/Silicone Reservoir, I will try openning it up and lubing so more but I think there might be a physical/contruction fault.

sounds like a dry O-ring, Take the valve out with a small flat head screw driver and lube the hell out of that thing, this will fix your problems. And in the mean time why not take out the valve at the top? It could use a lubing as well.

Removing the valves is the last thing one would want to do, it will increase the chances of worst leaking. Consider it a last resort thing. Best to just pour in a bunch of oil and let gravity do it's work while pressing the valve in and releasing it a lot to help work it in, then let it sit until testing.
