Goggle Advice

Hello ASC members,

Ive visited Army Issue Surplus and I really like the low profile ESS goggles (tan), but however i wear glasses so they dont really fit my face. Is there another pair that is similar or looks like the tan ESS goggles that i can wear over my glasses? I prefer a pair that is small and not so big. Thanks guys

ESS Land Ops series fit over glasses. I'm not aware of any in tan though...

Some paintball fields won't let you use ESS goggles.

Yes, ive tried the Land Ops goggles but they are waay too big for my small head. It pretty much covers most of my face and its too bulky. Any other opinions or advice?

I'm guessing the Profiles? You may have to bite the BB and shell out for another perscription dropped into something like this.

You know what I did? I bought a pair of ESS/X500 and i made to small slits inside to accomodate the arms of my glasses. Works like a charm...

hey would this be enough to protect your face when playing airsoft? http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...ith%2BMask.jsp

Ill be wearing goggles as well to protect my eyes. Will the neoprene be enough to protect my face?

The neoprene should be just fine, as long as no one's shooting you in the face with a hot gun.

Would the neoprene be enough to cushion the blow of a BB to make shots in the face less painful? or will it go through?

It would help a little, but not completely take away the pain. And the mas will be fine, it wont break form BB's

The foam-rubberiness of the neoprene should be plenty to bounce off BBs, unless, as I said, you get shot in the face by a hot gun (high fps) or just too close.
