Me again. In need of advice.

Oi ASC.

First off, I would like to say I'm enjoying my stay here.

The community (for the most part...*glares at CanadianM4*) seems awesome.

So, on to my question.

JG M4 new, G&G AK used, or TM AUG A1 used?

Since it's my buddy selling me the M4 I just ordered, he said he would happily take it back if I changed my mind.

I am not a sniper, but I am not a front lines guy either, so I prefer scoped shooting.

Which would make me think AUG all the way.

On the other hand, the JG has much higher FPS than the others.

Finally, the G&G has real wood and is very pretty.

So, pile on the advice, lads.

Cheers,

-ethan.

TM AUG or JG M4.
You can easily change the spring off the JG M4 mechbox. A 10$ spring downgrade.. lol

i only used a jg m4 and it does the trick front lines or hanging back. Camping its a good base for any time of style weather be cqb or lqc. Tm is the mother of all companies so....

if the TM is worth the same as the JG id get the TM.

All three weapons can play the longish range support roll you have defined for yourself.

Is it possible for you to try out/hold all of them before you buy? Thats the best way to tell what you like.

Personally, I would go with the M4 if you want a project gun, or the AUG if you want a gun you dont have to do any work on.

I have a TM AUG, and it's a beast, accurate stock, and even more accurate with a tightbore, put a 300-330 FPS spring in it, and a Tanio Koba Twist barrel in it, and a good prometheus or firefly hopup, and it will shoot straighter than any sniper rifle on the field

Is the G&G crap?

Because it's real purdy.

And also, the TM gets about 100FPS less then the JG.

Is it worth it?

I understand FPS isnt as important as build quality but 100 FPS is alot.

change springs, a new spring costs like 10 dollars and takes 10 minutes on an AUG, the AUG is idiot proof

Idiot proof is what I need, I've only ever worked on pistols before.

Are the springs easy to find?

I prefer to not order online, so local would be nice. (Toronto area.)

Where can I get them?

_____

I dont know much about G&G.

Is it a decent company?

Depends, Is the G&G Ak47 one of the clearsoft ones with the wood? You'll have a 'lot' of trouble replacing the body with a metal one since G&G's are uniquely styled. I own a G&G plastic version (TM styled, yay) and it fires like a goddamned beast before upgrades... I just got a freind to slap a modify piston/cylinder set and its just amazing.

But, if anything, go for the AUG, Scoping AK's are a pain without making them look ugly as hell. That, and augs are particularly unique compared to the hordes of armalites used.

Sounds like I'm going to go with the AUG.
I forgot to mention, its the one with the built in scope.

Anyone have any more advice to change my mind?

That's that then.

Unless that G&G turns out to be gold plated (I havent seen it first hand yet),

The AUG it is.

Thank you everyone for the quick responses.

x2

played with 2 stock TM guns against heavily upgraded guns. one is sub 280 fps and the other one is well shy of 300fps. smoked guys left and right. true it was a target rich environment with plenty of noobs, but I got more a lot more kills than I usually get in a day.

Although it could have been put a little nicer, I appreciate your input.

Although I know that the TM AUG is the better choice, im still tempted by the AK's wood stock and grip.

Someone help me sell the TM to myself =P
