I think it's mostly just a crappy camera. Though even on the newer pics it looks rough.

RA-TECH, does it look rough? Better lighting and camera, picture would look much different.

Oh god NO to steel bolt catch DO NOT ever use it. Why? how much does a catch cost? $15-45 how much does a bolt carrier cost? $20-260 Its better to have your bolt stop to be worn away than your bolt carrier. This is also why RA-Tech stop making steel bolt catch, their new one is a softer metal on purpose so you don't destroy your carrier.

That makes sense. That's why Jingong M4 GBB uses plastic as the bolt catch instead of metal. Actually the best material is hard rubber instead of metal, cheap and easy to replace.

Why not? The reason why they discontinued the steel catch was due to the wear on the softer material ie. the aluminum bolt carrier, this bolt carrier is steel, and since it's Chinese made, it shouldn't be terribly expensive to replace.

No, more is coming. Including metal bodies. However metal bodies will be labeled as another brand, may be a HK brand.

I think some of those are usable, though I'd personally stick with G&P wirecut hammer and sear...stuff like barrel extension and trigger itself probably is ok since the stress is low....

Parts are clearly cast, and cast steel parts at this level isn't going to be that hard...harder than pot metal though I guess...

I think G&P steel parts are cast too. CNC steel is not worthy for small parts since they intend to be cheap.
