I think its good that TM is making a short slide 1911 single stacker, but I think they could've at least made proper slide for one instead of using the same Hi-Capa 4.3 slide with its full dust cover cut....

Personally I want TM to make a compact frame 1911(thats not an odd-ball Detonics) so we can have the V10s and Tiki SVI kits for TM with mags, and I want TM to make long single stack mags....

a man can dream....

Yeah at first glance I thought it was built off the 4.3 completely... then noticed it was a single stack frame... kind of odd but still a nice looking piece.

The nice thing about the 4.3 slide is the fact there are already aftermarket slides and barrels and such available

I'm in the process of machining a bunch of slides with the dust covers scalloping cut in to it. It should look hot on builds like this, but I haven't looked in to getting tan / FDE finishes done to it yet.

According to the RW link, it's actually a "Dessert Warrior".

Just sayin'.

Is TM moving in the direction of WA by milking their 2011 and 1911 models? :>
They seem to be, with all their new color variations of gbbs and now this.

It would be great. Hopefully this is a start of long lineup of variation models from TM.
