What do I need to know about KSC's old TMP/new MP9

So after months and months of sourcing parts and trying to get in contact with various people about parts and engravings for my beloved TM/CA MP5KA1, I'm fed up. It looks great, but I now realize that I'll probably never get to finish this project, so it'll probably be gone soon. Which got me thinking about just getting a great-looking, unique, gameable SMG, that would be pretty realistic as well. I had always loved KSC's TMP, but the maintenance and mods that many felt had to be done out of the box turned me off from it. However, the new MP9 looks to be great, and at the very least now has a buffer :P. I know a few people here have had experience with the old TMP's, so I'd like to hear what you guys think of the old and the new.

tl;dr: like MP9/TMP, read reviews for both, but want to know moar from ASC.
