Battery format

I'm trying to find a good battery for a m249 para. I wanted to get something like this.

Link: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/eHobby-A..._ipgZQQ_sasiZ1

Then I got to thinking I could probably make the same pack for cheaper on www.cheapbatterypacks.com but I'm not sure what format and size the battery has to be. Can someone help me out please?

Thanks

If I'm not wrong, your M249 is using Mini battery, right ?

The best way to mod battery for M249 is rewire it to use battery in the box mags. The space in box mags is enough for a large battery, I'm pretty sure it's fit large battery but not sure it's 8.4 V or 9.4 V.

That's the best way to mod battery for M249.

If you are thinking that PEQ II is perfect for you then you will only limit to use mini battery only in those PEQ II unless you made a custom one. Contact Amos, he has one sale and it's custom large battery fit in there, 9.6V 4600 mah.

Hope it help.

In my A&K M249 Para I could fit a 9.6V 2000mah Nunchuck in there. This would most likely fit in most PEQ's as well.

So which kind of format is this http://cgi.ebay.com/G-P-AN-PEQ-2-RIS...A1%7C294%3A30?

Its 10.8v 3300mah?

I figure I could make a cheaper better one.

Most likely this.

I don't know if authenticity matters to you or not..so I'll just throw this out there, that peq 2 is an unrealistic size by about 25% +or-

I just need one for a para. I need a at least 9.6v and at least 3300mah or higher.

Why do you need such a high Mah rating? I ran 2000 mah in mine and NEVER had to worry about ROF or if the battery would crap out on me. Unless your running a huge ass spring or your super heavy on the trigger 2000 mah is more than enough. Plus it fits in the fore stock under the barrel.

I was hoping to make a high rof saw. I planned to use a systema magnum and modify high torque gears. And I want it to last a whole day. I'm aiming for at lease 22 bps.

In My experience having owned a few saws....You don't need a super ROF. You need a good steady ROF that is easy to feed and doesn't run a box mag dry in 3 trigger pulls. Just a thought. You can of course turn it into a hose if you like LOL. Also...bb's arent free and going through a few bags a game can get a bit on the pricey side.

Just a thought, if going for extreme ROF, why not a Lipo?

I was thinking that, but then I have to get a new charger , the battery , a balancer, and all that other stuff. Getting a big battery saves me money.
