Charge Handle
I have a G&G CAS GR16 which I have just taken apart and put back together and now am having trouble with the charge handle.
The charge handle popped off when I took it apart so I didn't see how it was installed in the first place. My problem now is that the spring seems like it's way too long to work with the charge handle - it doesn't create any tension until the handle is almost all the way out. It seems like the spring is literally twice as long as it needs to be, yet the charge handle worked fine before. This version doesn't have a functional dust cover, but I'm wondering if I somehow lost a part when it came out, or if the spring really is supposed to engae the loop on the end of the charge handle and I'm just routing it wrong or something...... |

pic of the spring?... sounds like you stretched it when removing the charging handle

It's not stretched at all, it seems normal - it happened the second time I disassembled it and it just kind of fell out. There wasn't any force involved with it or anything.
If I can't figure it out, I will just cut it in half and do it the wrong way |

Dammit, I found a picture of a replacement spring online, and it's definitely stretched.......
I didn't even pull it that hard or far, I guess it's just fairly soft....... |
