CA M15A4 weird noise

Hey! I just got a BNIB M15A4 and test fired it. When I shoot it makes a weird sound, like a spring being released. like: hhhnnnnnnn with vibration? Any clues what causes this? I don't think it's normal.

Thanks.

I noticed the same noise with my CA Sportline P90. The M15A4, is it Pro or Sport?

So what do you mean. It shoots, then sounds like its going backwards?

Here's a small video. You can hear it best at the second shot.

Sounds like your anti-reversal latch may not be working. This just happened to mine, because a piece broke off of it. Check to see if it is your anti-reversal latch. If you have a spare one around, that works, or one from another gearbox.

no that has nothing to do with the anti reversal latch guys...

The motor adjustment and shimming is poor i believe.

hope that helps

Thanks, I'll try to adjust the motor height.

Do you use the middle screw underneath the grip?

Yep. Middle screw. Adjust it only a little bit at a time, especially as you get closer to the sweet spot.

So when you shoot it. Explain exactly what you hear. Does it wind, then pop (the shooting), then sound like it winds even more?

Sounds like a sluggish or non-working anti-reversal latch.
