CA Delta Ring Sourcing & Compatibility - Need help

I have a CA M16 I'm building and am in need of a delta ring. I've searched:

- WGC, Redwolf, UNCompany, Ehobby

and Found aftermarket/OEM delta ring brands:

- G&P
- KA
- Dboys
- Guarder
- Proud

CA has metric threading (like TM's), so I will assume the G&P will not fit.

Some descriptions state that the King Arms D-ring is real steal compatible...I will assume they mean imperial threads? " For use with real handguard ( or compatible ) on M4/M16 AEGs" is the description on the guarder...assuming real steal threads again?

Dboys: no idea what kind of threads.

Proud: description "Will Fit Real Type M4/M16 Series Handguards ".

Ideally I would be able to source an OEM CA delta, any ideas where I might find one? No luck on the classifieds. If not, I'll have to test my luck with a metric threaded brand (if I can find one!).

Also, I've heard of rethreading G&P/imperial threads to work with TM/CA/Madbull/Metric delta rings; is it possible to go from metric -> imperial?

Any help would be much appreciated...I won't hold my breath though.

You can make the threads compatible with either metric or Imperial, just use the correct file. If you have a G&P, ICS, Systema, etc, use a metric thread file. If you have a CA, use an Imperial thread file (on the older bodies for sure, newer ones I couldn't say).

Thanks, Brad. Where would I find a file? Milarm or P&D in town here? I'm assuming they're RS receiver files. If not, do you know the imperial thread pitch so I can source the correct size?

Filing the threads will be a last resort. There still no guarantees the Drings will fit the RAS properly. I tested the RAS on a TM Dring and the OD of the Dring was too small to properly fit the RAS.

A source for OEM CA parts would be great. I just found Dentrinity and they have lots of OEM CA stuff but no Drings.

Standard off-the-shelf thread files. Canadian Tire, Princess Auto, etc. will have those.

The metric is 1.50mm thread pitch I do believe, I can check tomorrow.

Well looks like I'm going to re-thread my body....

Can someone confirm that it is possible to go from:

Metric threading (TM/CA) -> Imperial Threading (G&P, real steel) ----I know you can go in reverse for sure.

Brad, do you know what the Imperial thread pitch is so I can pick up the correct file?
