C7/C8 Elcan scope

If I remember correctly, I once saw a 3x clone. Any idea who made it?

4x seems too much for airsoft.

4x is really the maximum useable magnification with most AEGs. Anything over that is useless.

The real C79 Optical sight is 3.4x... and Honestly it's fuckin' useless even on the real rifle most times.

Sorry, huang's site doesnt specify a brand, only says its better then samurai.

Also, i assumed that it would be on par with the quality of his eotech clones...

Pretty much you can use anything you like the the CF (canadian forces) just ask long as its subdued and looks like its for military use.

As for real life situations, the only problems you'd run into using say, an eotec, is from the sgt major and even then they'd be minimal because most of the stuff you use over seas are subjective.

In regards to the Elcan C79, I'm not a big fan its heavy and not a good thing to have in close combat situations. Then again I've heard good things about the new A1-2(not idea which version it is) that has a selectable red dot sight that you can just turn on. IMO i dont think it'd make a big difference but if your going for the look, good luck she ain't fun to lug around

EOTech is an issued sight in the CF so I dunno how much anyone would give you shit on having it on your rifle.

If you are with the Infantry(atleast with PPCLI), especially overseas most people don't really care what you end up using just aslong as its something thats not gonna fall apart and it works.

In my unit a lot of guys used their own sights like ACOGs, Aimpoints, EOTechs and iron sights.
