Chest Rig Delema: Need advice please

So early on i got 2 vests that have been ok up till now but i am finding they dont fit my needs like i hoped. The pockets are not a good size for me and the zip up front i dont like. They are also both black.

What i think i would like is a green or wood/cadpat armored chest rig like th pics below. I'm not sure what styles are favored and what functions are best to look for. I know they can be altered witch is another big selling point.

I carry a mp5 sd5 right now so smaller mag pockets are what im looking for 6 across the front. Ive seen radio clips, tag for names/teams, hydro pack, and a few extra pockets for junk. And if lastly maybe a rig to have my sidearm on the chest as well. Does anyone use underarm holsters?

Thoughts...???

Thanks

#1 is outdated, the #4 POS CF tac vest is right out of 'er. #2 VBSS and #3 CIRAS would be your best bet. Keep in mind that the CIRAS is bulkier and heavier.

See this threadhttp://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=59056 for some ideas or search specifically for mp5 setups...

Post #10 is my mp5 rig. All pouches are tactical tailor. The setup itself works very well.

Nothing you posted up there is a chest rig. They are tac vests an plate carriers.

Anything modular/MOLLE is the best way since you can attach the pouches you want where you want. Also make sure you buy mag pouches designed for MP5 mags.

TAG makes some double stacked mp5 pouches, which a friend was suppose to bring up from the states (but didn't happen). Still looking to pick some up, but that might be a good option for you (especially with a simple vest like an all-molle version of the eagle universal).
