UN CUSTOM KSC G26 Issues....

I will list mods, parts coming, then the issues. i have copied and pasted this from another thread, so sorry if it does not read well.

but there is something clearly wrong

list of current mods:

UN Custom-KSC G26 Metal Version
-KSC G26 Based
-KSC G26 Metal Slide Installed
-Hi-Flow Valve Installed
-Strengthen Recoil Spring Installed
-Tuned For Top Gas
-Airsoft Surgeon Power-Up Floating Valve
-PDI 6.01 Precision Inner Barrel

parts on the way.....

GD-PT-GLOCK07 Guarder Enhanced Piston Lid for
GD-PT-GLOCK10 Guarder Enhanced Hammer Spring
GD-PT-GLOCK12 Guarder Magazine Catch f
Shooters Design Reinforced Part 10 for KSC Glock
SD-PT-S718 Shooters Design Steel Impact Hammer
New High Flow Mag Valve
new part # 23 (one of the springs is bent)
Guarder Enhanced part # 207 for Magazine

problem:

WOW, DOES THIS THING EAT GAS!!!!!!!! i am talking 1/2 a 15rnd mag and i need a refill........... any thoughts?

also, EVERY OTHER shot, is a no fire. so something is clearly sticking.

also, (may be related) if i fill he gas while the mag is in he gun, is just blows out the barrel, any thoughts?

i think my gas is too low to fully fill the mags, which is causing the eratic firing. i tried a stoc mag and valve, and it did the same thing (one shot, and DONE)

although, that one shot is like a fucking missile!!!!

i am gonna try my mag in the 26c and see if it does the same thing...

just shot out of the G23C, and got 4 shots, then dead. i think the gas is out, and not pressurizing the chamber well enough. i will get more tomorrow and see if that is the issue.

something is definately wrong. chrono'd last night at the local army navy store, and went 274, 242, 287. also, tyhe gun felt like crap, and was not like it was when in my basement shooting at cans. the weird part is that my basement is ~ 60*F, and the chrono was done outside at ~ 80*F.

this gun is SOOOOO inconsistent, and is lasts 4 shots TOPS, and it is out of gas. what the hell is going on!!!!???
oh, ansd ONE MAG last night i got ~ 8 shots out of, but only 4 BBs exited the gun, which means 4 were dead fires.

ok, new bucking rubber and hop up ball installed.

teflon "MOD" done.

airsoft surgeon floating valve removed, stock one back in with AS spring.

gun still fires ~ 4 shots and is out of gas. still misfiring every other shot.

and now a new issue, the blowback doesnt always fully cycle. like, it goes back, and will come forward, but stop ~ 1/4" from where it needs to be. this doesnt happen all the time, just intermittently.

i am beginning to think the "high flow valve" in the mag is bad. upon closer inspection, it looks to be a stock valve that has a "rib" or slat cut out of it. i am ordering a new one today.

at least that will eliminate the mag as the issue.

from there i will install the new hammer spring etc (currently in the air over the pond)

also, when filling the mag (with gas) while in the gun, it will just spray out the muzzle (as before) BUT then it will catch, and BAM, fill up the magazine. this also points me to a sticking HFV. i hope this is the case, because it is really annoying refilling every 4 shots, especially when two of them are duds.

I have a Ksc g23f that had the same intermittent cycle problem your does. An upgraded recoil spring helps which i think you said is installed but mine had the sticking caused by burrs on the slide which were rubbing the barrel. I just sanded it lightly by hand and it hasn't done it since don't know if this will help but good luck

Use larger mags than your 15 round mags.

The whole "super powerful + tiny little gas reservoir" isn't going to work in your favor.

Try to avoid mixing brands of parts, I've noticed you've got some guarder and some SD parts... Generally you want to stick to all one brand if possible.

Get a new can of gas... (what gas are you using anyways? Get an AI propane adapter and use propane!!)

Are you sure you're filling it right? (mag upside-down, gas up-side down so the liquid gas goes into the mag)

posted this in my other thread, but the issue was the airsoft surgeon flloating valve SPRING. after trying a few different configurations, i finally used the stock spring with the AS floating valve and BAM< gun works perfectly all around. 2+ mags out of a fill of gas (green gas BTW) and spot on strength and accuracy..

i love my gun again!!!! yay!

Do recommend a propane adapter, Love mine. You'll save lots of money and hassle. I've never even seen a can of green gas in my life!
