Anybody know anything about a KSC Beretta 92 Brigadier
I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum but here goes, and If I am wrong let me know and I will correct it in future posts.
I googled it and I couldn't find any info related to the KSC Beretta 92 Brigadier, can any of you experts enlighten me before I buy? Also what does the C stand for in a KDS Glock 19C? thanks for any help |

M92 Brigadier is a VERY old KSC gun... It's one of the first M9's that they've produced.
They fairly decent guns. The C... I have no idea what it stands for, but it normally denotes select fire. |

i though the C meant that it was compensated. this usually translates itself to a ported slide of some sort. on auto guns, its done so as to cool down the barrel. on standard guns, it "parts" the blast from the gun and allows you to maintain a sight picture. i believe that ASC user Johnny Rico has and avatar showing this.
So with regards to the Glock 18C. The Glock 18 is an auto pistol, but the C denotes that it is compensated. in this case, it has a ported slide. |

I think in Italian they use R for Raffica to denote select fire, as in the M93R

Yup, C means compensated.
Amos, it's just that auto handguns are almost all compensated. |

The C just means Compensated, for Example, the Glock 18 is automatic simply because they decided the Model 18s would be, when you have a Compensated Glock 18 it's the a Glock 18C (There are other Glock models that are Compensated as well)

maybe the opening near the front of the slide serves as a compensator?

Yup, that's a compensated pistol, look at the top vent and the ports in the top of the barrel...that's the compensator.
