Classic Army
I have been hearing stories of Classic Army guns coming with faulty wiring. Can anyone Confirm?

I've only heard postive things about CA, nothing about wiring to my knowledge.

Sometimes they have a bit of wiring "glitches". For example, the contacts between the wires on my G36 were crap when I bought it, and needed tweaking just a little to keep a constant connection.

In hindsight mine really wasn't much of an issue, moreso since it was my first AEG I didn't really know anything about them, took me a while to figure out.

For my 2 cents on this:
CA's mechbox wiring is great, 16 gauge wire. Great stuff. The problems I've seen is that if you have a crane stock, the wiring used in the crane to connect the mechbox's 16 gauge to the battery is a foot of 20 gauge wire which is stiff and crappy. I replaced the crappy 20 gauge wire on a team mate's CA with some 16 gauge I had laying around and the RoF jumped from 700 rpm to around 1100 and the trigger became much snappier. |

All of Classic Army's main brand (Their non-sportline) stuff is fine. They're one of the highest tier AEG makers right now.

Most of my stuff is CA. I have never had a wiring problem, for years for a bunch of guns.

You looking for a CQB gun, Carbine or full length? What would you like to know?
In short, it all depends on the mood of the person who put the gun together. You could get a very well built gun, or you could get a lemon. I've had my CA M15A4 for about a year and a half now and haven't had to change anything but the air nozzle and spring from a stock spring to a 110.

Well I am looking at a full length one with a fixed stock. My question is how reliable are they and would you recommend it to some one?

CA's one of the most reliable brands..
It's a little unsettling that a retailer is having to ask questions like this.. |
