Maximum range of an aeg!

Hey there so since I've heard alot about fps only slightly helping range but not really, what will make my aeg have the maximum range for it's kind. It's a kraken aftermath! If fps does not help then I'd rather find out what will! What kind of parts will I need to replace?

Proper hop-up adjustment + heavier ammo. .25g or .28g BB's will go a long way to increasing your range.

Krakens are fine for range, I threw a tightbore in mine and changed the hop rubber, she's at 330fps and getting the same max range as the stock gun (400fps), but better accuracy.

hop up rubber is the rubber material INSIDE the hopup chamber on the inner barrel that actually touches the BBs to cause the spin,
like this: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=642
