I've taken the liberty of posting pictures of my friend's gun. He helped me take some of the pictures of my M4 in this thread:

Thanks for the comments everyone, I should get the owner to post some of his own comments in here.
BTW, has anyone managed to mount a flashlight on their MP5SD without swapping the front end out for a rail system? He's got an idea, but it would mean drilling more holes.
