Greetings,
You have much to learn but hopefully we can help.
1. An M4 vs. an M16 is an M16 has nearly double the length in barrel.
2. The first link brings me to a G&G M4 Carbine and the second brings me to a G36.
3. Thats an EOTech replica, those are the way to go. Just the sight itself is a red dot with no magification, but you can buy a 3x-4x magnifier that is mounted in front of it.
4. Thats an ACOG, some are just red dot others are 4x magnification.

The M4 has MANY variants such as Carbine, CQB and so on. The G&G products are the same enternally but are different in appearance such as stocks rails and lengths.

If you're trying to decide between an ICS Cansoft M4 and a G&G Cansoft M4, try searching some reviews here to decide which one you wait. From what I have heard though, the ICS Plastic is much shittier, so unless you plan to get a metal body or a new body for that matter, I'd get the G&G. Internally they are a little bit the same, but the ICS M4 takedown is much simpler.. (I have a full metal ICS and it's awesome. the takedown is nice.. google it)..

Read reviews on both guns, decide which one you want more. The ICS Cansofts seem to be of cheaper quality than the G&G Cansofts (full metal guns are different from what i understand, the ICS and G&G metal counterparts are much higher quality (even internally a littler bit better))

Sorry for all the brackets.. there's a ton of differences but they are pretty close performers. The G&G's magwell is not as tight as the ICS's though too, as in the mags will be loose and you need to tape them up. The plastic is MUCH higher quality though.

did a quick google of the plastic ICS m4 guns, seems they are split mechbox like the metal versions. Which means if you break your upper receiver tabs, the two mechbox halves may not mate properly.

That should be something you take into consideration before purchasing. Now if you decide to get a metal body later on, no problems.

If you go to the review section look for a couple of reviews for the G&G m4's. I have one(carbine light combo) and shadownet has one as well. Both reviews seem to cover most questions that could come up. Now my review delt with the v1 cansoft so it didn't have a smoked reciever just to let you know.

Buy the one you think looks cooler than the other because that's about the only difference. There are no bad guns. Just the ones you don't like.
For a scope - Airsoft has limited range. I have several red dots and scopes because I think they look cool and can afford them. When it's time to play the scopes come off. If you can't shoot with iron sights in airsoft then you simply can't shoot. It won't make you better but there are some instances when types of masks and such make it hard to use the iron sights so you can make up for it by raising a red dot or something. Get a cheap one or an expensive one. No one can tell you what to buy. Get what you like but airsoft is like golf, you can't buy a good game, just practice.

I've examined two different versions of the G&G ones (smoke lower/metal upper version, and full plastic version). I wasn't overly impressed with either. I haven't seen the ICS ones yet but I've been told their not as good as the G&G ones.

IMO, get age verified, and for the cost of a G&G + metal body you can pretty much get a Classic Army gun.
