Some pointers from the pros?

Hay i was wondering if you guys can share some of the moves you do in the field so i can start practising

if anyone of you can make a training video on how to properly do certain types of manuvers, gun saftey etc it would help alot of us

iam also building a tiny field down were i live (it belongs to my parrents) and i was wondering how to make some great barracades etc.

can someone show me how to build an effective tactical shield just for fun?

on a side note: when reading the fourms i seem to find alot of sniper threads about joining right off the bat. Can i offer my solution? Create a test similar to the N driving test exept you put targets at certain distances and they have to judge the proper distance it might solve some of ur problems if you have the time to do that sort of thing. You can also have some written test before that with certain questions. If you pass the writen test you have to but an L or something on your back/Chest but you can only snipe if you have a someone near your side to help you out.

this isn't the army. dont be fooled by people who do those "hardcore moves" you are referring to. dont get me wrong, i have a lot of respect for that and those who can do it. if my team gets everything together, we will be doing stuff like that this summer. not because we have to, but because its fun. most of the stuff you see on magpul sites and vids are cool, but almost or never at all come up in airsoft games. just make sure you can reload your gun on the fly as that is an important sill, as it switching from your primary to secondary. other than that, accurate shooting is also imortant

I'm gonna have to agree with Donster, While its fun to do combat rolls until you can't stand up anymore, would you really be willing to do that and risk breaking your new toy? haha. Just do some plinking, set up targets at various distances and go to town. The reloading thing Donster mentioned is also crucial. It helps to get your vest/tac rig set up, with your mag pouches, etc, so you can practice reloading with the rig you're going to use to play.

+1 dont forget, that many of those roles and mag-reloads and tossing your gun down are down with REAL STEEL. real guns that are made for that kind of stuff. at the end of the day, dont forget that even if your gun is full metal, it is still at toy. treat it as such so it will last longer.

I like these moves; they're the ones I use in a typical morning airsoft skirmish:

-Moving from the staging area to the game area
-Moving from place to place in the game area, as slow as possible without getting shot
-Moving 12" from behind cover, and raising my gun, then moving my finger 1" to pull the trigger for a few seconds.
-Moving to the sidelines when I got shot
-Moving from the game are to the staging area
-Moving from the staging area to the BBQ
-Moving my hand so the burger in it meets my mouth, then move my mouth to chew it

Try those moves. They'll come in handy.

But can you do flips while duel wielding come G18's? Thats my favorite move.

+1 all that, but I'd go further and say a huge part of the emphasis for "hardcore" stuff (training videos and whatnot) is placed on situational awareness, accurate fire, reloading, and weapon transitions anyway. At the end of the day, whether in airsoft or real life, those things are going to be more useful than doing mad flips and shit all over the place.

And as someone else pointed out, get your gear set up, and become familiar with it. Re-arrange the pouch configurations unless you're fully comfortable with where things are.

just as a follow up to what i said. i dont know much about those moves, but i can take out entire teams by stalking and using the environment to my advantage via my MC camo. that to me, is my biggest advantage at the field that i play at. after that, comes my accurate M14
