I have like 4 different kind of 3 point sling and none of them are found useful for me.
There are only two sling and I found useful is 5.11 VTAC Single point sling and BlueForce sling, the one that mount directly on your vest and has adapter to attach all kind of weapons. Edit, it's 5.11 VTAC two point sling.

Check the BlueForce sling out, it has been mount my vest and it has buckle to put adapter attach from the gun. I have like 5 different of adapter to attach any guns I want form MP5 Series to AK and to AR. I almost can attach gun except the bolt action sniper rifle.
It might look that sling is on the way with the pistol but it's not. I will post some picture once I have time to take it. KND

I use a 3points sling on all my AEGs and I love it. It keeps your weapon within reach at all time and doesn't sag down like a 2point one. Plus iyou don't have to carry your aeg in your arm and you don't risk dropping it.
The 1point sling is good, but you have to use a shorter gun, so you don't bang your knees with it. The 3 point keeps the gun at an angle so you don't have to worry about jamming the tip in the dirt. And the ones that clip on a vest?...well...you have to buy the vest with it! |

I'am with Farmboy on this
Go with a single point or 2 point. Blue Force Gear has some good ones like the Vickers, etc. Paracord an a d-ring work pretty well for a single point sling aswell. Last edited by -Skeletor-; March 31st, 2009 at 21:29.. |
