Replica ACOG RDS battery problems
Hey I just got an Acog replica RDS from a friend, he said he hasn't used it in about a year and left the batteries in it. I cleaned out the battery compartment and used the batteries he gave me and it doesn't work. Was just wondering if anyone who may have one could tell me which batteries to use in it the ones he gave seem to be to small. Thanks for all the help

should be the same as mine ,different brands have different numbers but mine are L754 which stands for 7mm diameter 5.4mm in length ,just bought some off ebay

Mine takes LR44, can be had at lots of places.

what make of acog is that, lr44 are 11mm dia 5mm long seem to big to fit in an acog ,L754 as in mine are only 7mm dia and fit in the end of the mounting with an external screw cap

the battery compartment is located under the eye piece on the bottom of the unit. This Acog seems to take two batteries. The batteries seem to be similar to to the ones for my lazer sight on my pistol but they don't work

sounds like mine if they measure 7mm by 5mm then there L754 ,take your old ones with you and the shop will tell you

thanks screwdriver I'm going to run out to the store tonight and get them hopefully thats all it needs. Darn thing is pretty Pricey but i love the look
