Tips For Clear Vision (Goggles)

This is a problem that has persistently irked me since the first time I was on an airsoft field.

I play at least 50% blind at any given time due to fogging of my goggles (and often get shot for it. )

Thusly, in this thread, we shall post techniques on how to clear up this sort of thing. (See what I did there? "Clear up" Get it? Huh? Huh?)

I'd post some, but obviously, I don't know how.

CD and dvd scratch repair paste is the best anti fog I have used and I have tried them all.

Dish soap method.

Buy goggles with a thermal lens. No fogging what so ever.

By shooting glasses.
Breathe down through your nose.
Foam out of lenses.
The only time I fog up is when I may be looking uphill and basically screw up by breathing the wrong way.

Get micro fans, I have dual fans on my ess nvg profile goggles and they work great.

a good mask will not have any fogging. fogging usually has to do with goggle to face connection. If there is room for the air from your mouth to enter the eye portion of the goggle, it will fog. the above methods will prevent it, but i think you should just find a better mask. The Vforce grill is superb, and i just bought a Save Phace one that im dying to try in the field. ill keep you all updated.

if you tend to sweat a lot, especially in from the face, you will fog no matter what. I have overcome this by using both thermal lenses and a fan. Only issue is that the fan makes noise and the air movement can dry your eyes out.

Using shooting lenses does not entirely eliminate fogging if you sweat. Using just thermal lenses can help but still won't eliminate it.

A good pair of mesh goggles is honestly the best thing any airsofter can do. I have a pair of the HFC mesh goggles, and Ive taken a 500+fps rifle point blank, and not even a paint scratch, or even a shattered BB. As long as no one uses bio-bb's you are golden.

+1. if you are really concerned, just get some ballistic lens/goggles and wear them underneath. for the record, i mean these ones:
