Airsoft Gun Gas

I recently purchased 2 gas Airsoft pistols. One of them takes "hfc 134a" which I found out was in some of the canned air dusters, but I have been looking around lately and havn't been able to find the kind with it in it. Yes, I know that it won't say "hfc 134a" on the bottle and it should say Tetrafluoroethane something or other but I can only find Difluoroethane cans. I just want to know if it is still availiable and where or if Difluoroethane can be used.
Ps I live in the Ottawa area if suggesting stores.

Difluoroethane won't work. It's stored at a lower pressure and some of the chemicals in it will degrade the seals on your gas guns. Tetrafluoroethane can still be found but not easily, it's largely been replaced with the cheaper Difluoroethane. Depending on what make and model of gun it is, even though it says hfc 134a, it might be able to take propane.

Its a Kwc g17 with a plastic slide. I'm sure I could use propane for a bit but the slide would eventually break probably... Kind of a cheapo.

Yeah, what kind of gun is it? Certain plastic slide models can withstand the pressures of propane, depends on what the make is. TM I hear are more propane friendly, whereas Western Arms not so much, unless you install the AI Flow Reducer.

I have a KSC G23F Full auto. I run propane, and the slide is still holding up.

Can you buy propane adapters locally in Ottawa? If not does anyone have a good site online?
