M14 assembley
as it states in having problems assembling my m14. everything goes in great, but it wont line up at the trigger guard so the trigger guard wont go on hence i cant assemble.
ive had it apart a thousand times now and cannot see anything binding or out of the ordenary. can someone please give me an answer as to what im doing wrong! |

Pictures could help, although I know nothing about internals, but others could help easier to identify the problem.

alright, before u do anything else, make sure u put in the right screws into the gearbox front. I accidentaly put a long screw which will prevent the trigger guard assembly from going into the gearbox.
also, after u checked that, depending on why its not going in (visually inspect it) u can bend the guard with ur hands to fit, since depending on the type of metal, when u yank it out it might have bent, cheers. please take a shot of ur grabox sides and fronts and il pin point the problem for u. |

well ive even tried "hammering" it in, i know bad move i was mad the gun didnt deserve it. and it still wont fit.
as for the screws illl have to check i know i added a lock washer onto the motor mount but it shouldnt have gotten in the way, ill remove it and try again. |

AGM is an almost 100% Marui clone. Hope this helps!

i got it figured out. thanx everyone. baisically i was bieng lazy and trying to put my stock motor mount onto my upgraded gearbox (different brands) and everything would fit nicely but it would bind in the gun.
for reference it was only out of alignment by about 1/5 a mm. and it would not go. lets everyone know there isnt much tollerance for sloppyness. Thanx to all that helped. |
