Eye protection
I wear perscription glasses so I was wondering is there a goggle made to fit over glasses and are paintball full coverage masks made to accomadate glasses. You'd all be quite safe if can't wear my glasses, blind as a bat with out them.

Depends on the frame of your glasses. A slim set will fit in Bolle without any problems. I once had a set of Global Armor goggles made to fit glasses. Never had any fogging and it could accomodate the thickest frames (think geek glasses from the '80s big). There are choices. You can also get prescription inserts done for some goggles. Just shop around and you'll find something to your liking.

if you had some thin framed glasses, could you safely cut a small slit in the sides of goggles? The arms on my glasses are maybe 1MM X 2MM so I'd thing just a small slit would allow me to wear goggles without crushing the arms of my glasses against my head (assuming they fit on my face without being mashed into my eyes by the lens of the goggles.

I'd recommend going to a paintball store and trying on some goggles in person. Many PB goggles will accomodate glasses. For example, I've got a pair of JT Spectre that lets me wear my glasses, though I normally wear contacts.

i think there is a thread about this already in the general section. there were a bunch of goggle modles that are made to hold prescription glasses linked in that thread.

Wow that was quick. Thanks everybody. I'll check all that out and see what I find. I figured the PB masks would be the best bet but I'm not crazy on the full coverage thing. Mine are slim frames so that might make it easier.

I wear the UVEX Strategy goggles with my glasses. A wipe with dishsoap on my glasses and I've encountered no fogging issues with these.

I dont wear glasses but can speak from experience that the JT spectra's will work perfectly for you and the advantage to the JT masks is that all parts are removable so if you choos not to run a full paintball mask jsut remove the mouth and ear protection and you are left with a great pair of goggles that have an awesome thermal lens to prevent fogging

Matt does Soldier gear carry these googles. I have been in your store in Angus a few times

Its not something I have in stock right now but it is an easily obtainable item the price on them ranges the basic spectra going for around 60 bux and the proflex coming in at around 100 if u plan to run full mask and not just the goggles the proflex are the way to go the soft mouth and lots of ventilation make them one of the best full face protectors on the market
However if your plan is to remove all the other accesories and run just the goggles then the basic spectras would be more than adequate Stop by and say hello whenever u get a chance and if u come out to play tonight I will be down there with you guys so make sure u let me know who u are

I know Duckman uses goggles with RX inserts. He seems to like them and they work well.

Thanks Matt. I got surfing last night and went a head and ordered a pair of UVEX Strategy goggles. Good enough for a start. It is good to see Soldier gear getting involved with Airsoft. I think it is an untapped area for fields that run PB only, and it is close for us who don't live near the city or down country. Thanks for taking an active role.

I wear glasses when I play, and I use either a pair of normal paintball goggles, or a pair of crossman shooting glasses. Both fit over mine without issue, but my glasses are also small framed.
