Battery question
This might be more for FAQ but here it is. NI-Cd battery 1200mah 8.4 V. Manual states 11 to 12 hours for first charge and recommends dicharging when not in use to assure best battery life. I found how to make a dicharger using automotive bulb so thats taken care of. The question is after the first charge of 11 to 12 hours will it take the same amount of time each time after full dicharge to fully charge the battery. I have had drills and such battery run equipment that took a long first charge but after that a much short charge. The manual does not say anything in this regard. Am planning on a battery up grad in the future but would like to treat the stock one good and use as a spare.

What type of charger do you have? I assume its a wall charger that came with the gun. What you do is take the mah of the battery and divide that by the output of the charger. So for example 1200batt/250output=4.48hrs

Thanks TCLP. Yes it is the wall charger that came with my Aftermath Kraken. Thought I'd try it as a first rifle. The charger is a class 2 input 120 AC 60Hz 90mA. Out put is 8.4V DC 250mA. I kind of thought the charging time would be less then the first charge time. The stock battery that comes with the gun is supposed to be pretty crappy but until I get another on it will have to do. Thanks again. I see your in the Red Deer area, I used to work out there years ago.
