Lightbulb Need to be updated...

I've been out of the scene for a few years now. Last I heard no one could get guns into the country, and now suddenly they're becoming a lot cheaper.

Did the laws change? Is Kang still in the airsoft business? Does Aquamarine still shoot dildos from his M203? Anything else I should know?

Thanks!!!!

Nic

Kang is actually dead, or he just dropped out of the business? What happened? I did a few searches, but couldn't find anything. Looks like Will from Specarms is in trouble with the law... he was a really cool dude, hope nothing happens to him.

I'll leave that one to someone else, natural-ish causes from what I've heard, but then again I've never really known much of him apart from the fuss he caused that shut down the western retailers, if that is true.

- Yes
Wow have more respect for the deceased. He may have had his black mark in history but Airsoft is still going strong anyway.

Kang died from a heart attack when the whole Airsoft community was out to get him during the Outrage of 2005. I wasn't around during that time but I did a lot of reading from all the threads and from what the admins have told me. To have some humanity I would like to say may he rest in peace.

No, that's Mickey, from Tokyo Hobby, though it might have been facilitated by Kang. Kang is something else entirely, something I remember from my young days here...

Agreed. I had known Peter personally and all I'll say in this regard is that his heart was in the right place, he just didn't really execute very well at all. :banghead:

There are lots of opinions on Peter Kang, good and bad, but one thing is undeniable and should be respected; without Peter Kang, airsoft in Canada NEVER would have gotten the foothold it did.

We all have our own opinion regarding his business practices. That being said, unless you were around in the late 80's and early 90's, you really have no idea of how much Kang did for the sport in it's infancy.

So please show so fucking respect for the deceased.
