ICS M16A3 - length of inner barrel
My ICS-24 (M16A3) has a barrel that's kind of screwed. It was mottled with a layer of plastic residue at the end of it that was sending the bb's haywire, so I tried drilling it clean but couldn't get it 100%.
I guess I should just replace the barrel. Does anyone know the proper length, and a recommended replacement? (I can't seem to find the length in docomentation or internet (and don't want to take it apart just to measure it right now) With shipping and everything I don't want to get the wrong part, so if someone else has been through this it would be a great help just to get some sound advice. I wonder how the plastic got there. Use? Smoke caps? |

I just got my 509mm Mad Bull 6.03mm barrel in from airsoftparts, and am pretty happy. My original barrel is about 4-5mm longer than it, and just shot 302ft/sec. (the barrel was fouled though)
The new tightbore shot 320ft/sec. It took about 5 minutes to change and was really quick and easy. The new Madbull Chrono is pretty awesome too! |
