I can see this as not being a very good thing. A slight modification to the threads of the part that screw onto the gun and you now have an easy way to make pop bottle silencers for real guns. Poor choice madbull

Pop bottle suppressors actually work on RS?? I thought that was a Hollywood thing...I can understand Airsoft to a degree but wouldn't the gasses and whatnot just melt the bottle on a RS?

It could if you had a .22 with subsonic ammunition.

The disclaimer madbull provides explains the legalities of making a real suppressor.

I agree, ultimately, where there is a will there is a way. Stupid people will always do stupid things.

I don't think real steel threads their flash hiders for 14mm.

As MadMax and others points out...this is not practical and would be potentially dangerous to try on real steel (adaptor or not).

It'd be interesting to crap together this mod for airsoft...but it'd still be cheesy and ugly.

I see this as MadBull just trying to make a quick buck on the curiosity factor.
