Best EOTECH clone you have in terms of functionality
Quote:
- reticle can be zeroed in on target properly (vertical and left/right adjustments that works) - remains zeroed in on target if rifle stays in place and you would move position viewing the sights - no parallax viewing - no ghosting - intensity adjustment that works: works in bright day and night conditions - mounts properly on standard picatinny rail - no riser needed when used with your magnifiers $170 and two clones later, I still have to find an EOTECH clone that works right, not just PROPS on my rifle. Aesthetics (full trades, physically looks like the real thing) are only secondary to what I am actually looking for. I really prefer my sights to be WORKING AND FUNCTIONING like the real thing. you're still about $230 short of the average cost of a new Eotech 551.

Look at Bushnell holosights if you are just looking for functionality. Less pricey than EOTechs but with the same technology.

I don't think you'll find any replicas that can do everything as well as the real deal. Some will be better in certain respects than others, but they will all fall short of the real thing, regardless of their price. But their weakness is they're all RDS sights pretending to be holosights.
So far, the only EOTech replica that I've seen or heard of that has a reticule bright enough for daytime use is the HurricanE series. I have both a Huang / G&P 552, and a HurricanE 552. You can read the comparative review I posted here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=71090 If you want all those features, then there's only one way to get them - to buy a real EOTech. The other option, as stated by bruce, is to find a Bushness holosight, which is actually a civilian EOTech 551. It's cheaper than the EOTech brand, although they're made for Bushnell by EOTech. Short of that, you're stuck paying the big bucks if you want all those features.

Remember the eotech 553 reply I did?
After the reticle ghosting got fixed by itself for some odd reasons I guess ( the front glass or the adjustment screw might be loose... Well guess what. Today I play a game inside ( not heated ) and the rear window cracked as soon as I got it out the gun case... It never got hit by a bb or anything... That is bad.
