EO 557 clone released

EO 557 clone released. Price/pcitures coming soon. With 557, no riser needed if you want to align with the magnifiers.

Looks more like an EO 556, but the bottom picture looks like a real 557. Hard to tell, or it is it just me.

The first two pictures are 556, and the last third picture is a 557, the 557 is longer than a 556.
The bottom 557 is a real I guess. The real 556 and 557 have the 2 smaller allen key screws closer to the tighting screw, not under the up and down push buttons.

It's the price for the EOTech 557 clone, not the magnifier, so the top pic.

I have both the 557 and the 4x multi and they look and work great indoors. The fts mount of the 4x is nice to have if you want something fast (red dot) instead of having to peer into the sights..

However, I took it out this weekend and I could not see a single thing in the bright outdoors. Now I don't know if the batteries were an option (they were old), but it was sure disappointing...

Will try again with fresh batteries and report back..

That's the down side of these replicas. They're useless in sunlight. The reticle gets washed right out. They're fine on overcast days or if you're in the woods in the shade, but in bright sunlight, as useless as tits on a nun unfortunately. Aside from that, these are excellent sights.

Bright sunlight isn't of a problem if you do what you normally do with your interchangeable safety glasses in bright daylight)

(hint hint: colour dye a spare element sight protector in grey so you can switch out in the field as required. )
