G36 Furniture

There are a lot of companies that now offer parts for the G36, including furniture for the gun's different versions (G36/k/c, MG36, SL8). I've been looking to get K and C front ends for my CA36, but with all these companies it's hard to decide which is best. So basically I figured I'd see what people here have to say about the different front ends/stocks/body kits there are out there and the pro's and cons. As far as I can tell the following companies offer front ends and other parts:

I'm not 100% sure, but can't you get a CA conversion kit? If you can I'd recommend that since CA36's are slightly different colour than the STAR and TM ones.

Yeah, I figured CA would to, I mean they sell the whole gun why not a kit, but I haven't found any. And thanks for the tip on STAR, I didn't know they were different.

If you're looking for a decent quality railed front end that's not going to strain your wallet, try EbayBanned and their in-house CNC'd front ends.

JG and TM G36 are much darker than the Classic Army G36 as you can clearly see on the pics here
As you see in the pictures CA G36 body is more of a grey ish colour.

I also find the glass fiber material on the CA much better than the ABS one on the TM and JG.
I've never handled a Star G36 or the ACMs G36 parts, so can't comment on them .

To correctly math the colour on your CA36 your best bet would be to get original CA parts, but I've never seen a complete K and C front end kits from CA unless you want the CNC'd front end G36K Rail System w/ Barrel Set.
CA also has the G36C Large hand Guard but you'd have to get the barrel set separately. You can see some more of the G36 options on Cobra Airsoft

I have the G&P G36 Sniper Style Folding and although it's not an exact math to CA grey ish colour I find G&P the closest and the material is quite good as well, and as you probably know they have the complete G&P G36K Front Set

Or alternatively you can scratch all that and get the EbayBanned CNC'd front ends as Styrak recommended, which indeed have a pretty good price

I also have the CA36, have yet to toy with it but I had a few similar questions.

Someone linked me this conversion kit because I was looking for a hand guard replacement with rails mounts.

I also heard somewhere (please don't ask where, I just do a lot of reading without really paying attention to there it came from) that for mags, Star would be best. Same source pointed out that King Arm mags tend to break more easily. Cheaper plastic or something there about.

Was also looking at the G&P stock so I could stick a large battery in. Only problem is that the battery isn't standard large but a custom one build to fit specifically into that stock and even then, you can't collapse it. I've been suggested to get the stock adapter and fit in an M4 stock instead. Haven't heard much in terms of bad for either configuration.

the star g36 furniture has a barely perceptible difference in colour from the CA stuff ( i have the star front end on mine and you cant tell the difference)

CA = nylon fiber, durable, crack resistant, nice texture
TM = ABS, scratches easy, bits snap off easily, smooth and crappy feeling

I had a STAR G36k front end for a CA G36c I had a long while ago, no noticeable colour difference. TM sucks generally. Also the G&P battery stock I had I believe was very close to the CA colour.

Glass fiber = fiber glass

fiber glass is exactly that, its glass filaments. You need a resin to mix it with. Nylon can be used for this. Most plastics can be fiberglass reinforced.

So in the interest of science, I decided to put in an order for the eHobbyAsia G36K kit. It's advertised as being nylon fibre, and the barrel is steel. At under $50US how could I not? When I get it, I'll see how it stacks up to CA parts, and post a review. Worst case scenario, it looks terribly off, so I spraypaint it tan. :P

just like that i realy dont think the material CA makes is G36 is the same as the real one ?
