we 1911 - nozzle sticks to hopup
Every time I pull the slide back, the nozzle unit thingy (I'm an AEG guy) sticks in the hop up unit and i sometimes have to pry them apart with my finger nail. I drowned both parts in lube and they still stick. I even replaced the hop rubber because the last one had expanded. I tightened and loosened the screws holding the hop unit together and still no difference.
Has anyone else experienced this? Almost seems like it is supposed to happen in which case I'm an idiot haha. As I said I'm an AEG guy. |

Was the nozzle replaced? If so, it's probably a wrong nozzle.

If it were a wrong nozzle, it's highly unlikely he would've been able to get it into the gun in the first place.
Don't worry about the sticking. As long as the nozzle properly retracts into its housing when the slide is pulled back, it's not a serious issue.
