Broken sight on TM Hi-Capa

So I was shooting 2 shots of bursts and POP goes the rear sight on my TM Hi-Capa. The Screw that holds the rear sight to adjust Up and Down broke it's head off.

TM does make shit metal.

Like how the hell does that happen?
I didn't even touch it to adjust.

This happened to Arman a couple of months ago. Same deal. Same gun.

LOL!!! That's generally what happened to my Capa too.

This is why I bought a TM clone with combat sights instead of target. Much more secure, rugged construction.

Honestly I like the internals of a TM but the externals are so low par compared to other brands...

I sympathise with you, you should get a metal slide

Problem fixed, found a regular screw that fits. :P
Works as a charm! Still got the magic touch.

Dood, buy an MEU slide, and it's sights when they become available. Seriously.

There's a combat replacement sight
for the TM 5.1 on Den Trinity. It's the
only one I've seen, you'll have to dig
for it yourself sorry.

Is TM's Bomar accurate enough to the real one to use a real Bomar?

Good to hear that you found another screw...it's the only option unless you can find a spare bomar sight.

That's the third one I've seen do that.

If you don't have a stronger recoil spring in there, put one in. It'll take the sting out of the recoil and help stop the pistol from bashing itself to bits.

If you do find another bomar sight...I'm looking for one too...

Hmm, it's a Guarder 150% I think.

Real bomar's won't fit TM or WA without
lots of work. So it's not worth it, but you
may be able to use a real steel adjustment
screw...

Anyway, here's the link you lazy bugger!
