Misfeeding on my VSR-10

Hello,

I own a HFC USR-11 (clone of the vsr-10). I upgraded various parts in the trigger group, barrel, etc...

Ever since I assembled it after installing my bipod I have been having numerous misfeeding.

I sometimes manage to get 1-2 shots out of 10+. I disassembled the gun numerous time to check everything from hop-up to trigger group, to cocking system to mags, etc...

The only way I can get 100% feeding is by strongly pushing in the mag while cocking the gun.

As you can guess, this is quite impractical. What should I do or adjust to fix my feeding problem?

Common problem with a few VSR's out there, including TM ones.

You can try to modify/fix the mag catch or use tape to hold the mag firmly in place. Anyways, when sniping, you don't use that much ammo.

Seems like I fixed the problem. I added a thin layer of plastic (less then half a millimeter) inside the hole of the mag where it clamps. It makes it a bit tighter and pushes the mag higher.

Harder to clamp it in but it works at least.

Thanks for your help guys!

Also, you can add a little velcro strap that you can slide on and off, like Stalker and I have on our M24. It preven the mag from going out enough to misfeel.

I also hold the mag in everytime I rechamber another round.
