Part for KSC Glock

Well I took apart my gun yesterday after having some issues with it and found the problem. Part 78, has broke and definitely needs to be replaced. Now i was wondering if anybody has an idea of where i can find this part. Most of the places that I've looked at have the item but are currently "out of stock".

Heres an upgraded part which i would also consider.

Any ideas?

Get the upgraded steel part. A stock potmetal one is just going to break again. A steel Shooters Design one definitely won't.

I found it at WGC shop as well, but i would prefer not to pay $20 for shipping and waiting 3 weeks for the part to come.

I appreciate you trying to help me out

As stated, contact Tirador here on ASC. He can get the stock part for you if you can't find or wait for the steel part.

You might be in for a bunch of fiddling around after installing that part. I installed one in a KWA G19 and it's been having a lot of problems since, and Dracheous installed one in his KSC G19 and is having similar problems. Could be burrs, could be a bit thicker than the stock one, could be anything. Just a heads up that once you install it the chances of you getting your gun to work perfectly right away are slim.

Yeah, wait the three damn weeks for a better investment than ending up paying $20 shipping from just about anyone else for the pot metal one. Will say you're going to need to do some filing to the part, because its stainless and the edges of the machining are so sharp it jams up in the channel. I only took about 20 minutes to do by hand, if you have a vice it would greatly reduce this time. I just installed one into my G19, after filing the edges down, the glock runs smooth again. The new recoil/hammer springs and rocket valves have also helped make the little pistol fire nice and crisp.

Make a list of parts that you have already upgraded, parts that are starting to wear and parts you still want to install into the pistol. Find a retailer that has the MOST of those parts and make one good order. I suggest getting new springs while you're at it, they're cheap and handy to have then the current ones start to wear. Check the "piston head" those generally tend to wear out in GBB's faster than anything else.

Update: So I was able to get my hands on a steel hammer by Shooters Design. I have, as suggested, filled down the edges and it seems to fit perfectly now.
