Couldn't find an answer

Hey, so I live on vancouver island. And was looking at Vancouver island airsoft groups, and the closest one to me was Central Island Airsoft. I sent them an email about three weeks ago, about how old you need to be to play at thier games. Weather it be 16 with parental consent, or 18. I never got a response from them, so I turn to ASC to find help. Cause Im 15 and hoping if you only need to be 16 with parental consent (I hope) I could make it out to a game next summer when I turn 16. I planning ahead

Mitch

Lol thanks, I just dont see a point in getting a shit gun from buyairsoft, having games whth your friend, have th cops called and have your stuff taken for being stupid. I'd rather wait the 3 years and save my money to have a decent start. But I jsut hope I can still get a kraken when I get verified

Have you checked with South Island Rangers? They are from Victoria

http://forum.bcairsoft.com/index.php

check SIR section, but I think their minimum is 16 or 18 as well

If you're up for the trip to the lower mainland I believe that Op-For does games with 16 (with parent actually playing on field with you I believe). They can't just drop you off and go to Metro or Park Royal to shop.

You're a lot better than most of the newbies that come here so if I were on the island right now (and part of the team) I would actually try to convince them to let you drop into a game.

Don't get a Kraken when you get verified, theres much better stuff than that. With what's happening behind the scenes right now you'll be like a kid in a candy shop once you get verified. Trust me, I only got verified like 3 months ago and I want everything.

Lol, thanks for all the info, I just want an AK when I get verified in a few years, and from what I read on here it was a pretty decent bas to start on. I could try and convince my dad when he gets back from fort mac murray or however you spell it, to come out to a game, but knowing him he probably wont

L473ncy, I believe that for Op-For games the parents must only be there to sign the waiver in front of an admin to show that someone has signed for them, then the parents can leave and come back at the end of the day to pick up their kid.

The way you mentioned it, I believe its the rules of BCAC which was usually if you were under 18, a parent had to be playing airsoft along side of you during the games for it to be allowed.

Well to each his own I guess, Kraken is a good place to start if you really want that AK. Save your money, trust me on this one, and thanks for being one of those kids that actually listen and wait, I can see you becoming a great guy to play with in the future. Who knows I might even see you in my Red Dot one day (or you might see me in yours) .

I stand corrected then. Haven't played in Vancouver yet, I just remember a rule like that from somewhere. I guess it was BCAC I was referring to.

Sorry Shortcut a lot of the members of CIA are currently doing other things at the moment and I don't think the boards have been checked too often. I hope it turns around sometime soon not a lot of good airsoft left on Van Isle except SIR. It's hard getting games going with so few people.
