just wondering if this type of mag (Magpul PTS) will fit any M4 aeg?

You have to be more specific, my RS PTS mags fit into my PTW but not my Dboys receiver. If it's designed for an AEG then it will work for an AEG, minus your minor fitting issues for different brands.

If you're referring to the Star Airsoft manufactured PMAG series, then they generally fit into most AEGs bodies. But the fitting is like any other mag out there, it may work with some guns, and not with others.

My airsoft Magpul Pmags will fit in my Magpul receiver, but they do not fit in my Dboys Troy receiver.

My star pmags fit in my JG 416 (standard TM plastic lower) with only a little bit of shaping, mags are very curved so the longer magwells of plastic receivers don't fit them at all (stop with 1/2 and inch left to go to lock in) CA bodies work fine though without any modification.
